A brief that arrived as one line: make the sea feel like work, not a holiday.
Approach
We built the whole spot around a sound recording made on the first scout — an engine at idle, forty seconds long. Every cut in the finished film lands on a beat in that recording. The picture was scheduled around a sound edit that already existed.
Grade
Cold, but never blue. The client’s brand palette pulled hard toward cyan and we spent a full pass walking it back toward grey, so the orange of the deck gear reads as the only warm thing in frame.
